Vanessa(2nd one frm the right) was diagnosed with a condition called Brain ArterioVenous Malfunction. Basically she's born with too many blood vessels in her brain and one of them burst on thursday night. She had a stroke/fit of some sort. She was operated on quite late cos she fainted in the bathroom and they only found her 2hrs later. Her brain is still bleeding and swelling and she's sedated right now. It looks quite bad because she's still bleeding and her brain is still swelling. She's had 2 operations already to try to reduce the swelling of her brain and is now in the ICU. The odds are quite bad, looking at the past histories of AVM. I really hope she fights through. but realistically in the event that she does, she's not going to be the same again. she's just 17 like us, sometimes life is really unfair...she still has a bright future ahead...

every 4 out of 100 people who suffered from AVM will have this bleeding...guess, she's really really unlucky this time...

i hate it when this happens...i hate the fact that we'll only learn to treasure the ppl around us when we are about to lose someone...
